Welcome to Da Capo Strings. We are a music ensemble program based in the Sutherland Shire, dedicated to bringing talented local musicians together to play music of all genres, including classical, jazz, rock, pop, and folk.
We believe ensemble playing is a fundamental part of every musician's development. It is strongly encouraged by many music educators as it provides a social learning environment which helps develop musical understanding whilst playing great music with others.
If you play violin, viola, cello or double bass please feel free to come along on any Sunday during the school term to check out our ensemble. We are always seeking enthusiastic musicians to join our ensembles. Musicians of all levels and ages are invited. Please see information about our ensembles here:
If you or any other string players that you know of are interested in joining our ensemble, please contact us and we will be in touch asap.
